Abstract: ＂Application-oriented＂ personnel training of animal husbandry and veterinary speciality was confirmed according to the demands of rapid, high-quality, safety and ecological development of animal husbandry in Heilongjiang Province. The orientation of personnel training target was ＂higher application-oriented technology personnel＂. The main manifestations of the demands of professional ability of graduate were the ability of solving problems and basic ability. The main manifestations of the demands of social ability were cooperative ability and responsibility consciousness. The higher technology personnel of modem animal husbandry that mastered skills and had management and practice abilities, higher quality were trained by the ways of reforming the personnel training scheme, optimizing the course system, enhancing the practice ability and strengthening the comprehensive quality.
