Abstract: The geographical distribution of producing area,yield,nutritional characteristics,processing method as feed stuff,and application in different species of animals of sunflower disc were expounded in this paper.The factors limiting its use as animal feed stuff were analyzed:perishability in storage,unstable nutritional content,undetermined adding ratio in basal diet,and poor digestibility.Some countermeasures were put forward in the light of the above problems.
