Abstract: Poultry Production experiment is one of the main courses for undergraduates majoring in animal science and related specialties which plays crucial roles in improving undergraduates′ practical ability as well as problems-analyzing and-solving ability. Based on the current situation of Poultry Production experimental teaching, the existing problems such as the contradiction between teaching time shortage and teaching contents expansion, separation between experimental contents and practice requirement, and the imperfect teaching methods, are analyzed and discussed. Furthermore, the feasible schemes and measures are put forward to reform teaching contents and methods, in hoping to improve the teaching quality and effect of Poultry Production experiment and to cultivate high-qualified professional talents meeting the demands of modern poultry industry.
