Abstract: Temperature is one of the important environmental factors that affect fish survival. The effects of abrupt temperature change on the activities and the survival rate of Acipenser schrenckii were preliminary studied in the experiment. The results showed that Acipenser schrenckii juvenile could withstand abrupt temperature change from 28℃ to 16℃ within 6 h and the survival rate was 100%.However,Acipenser schrenckii juvenile had slightly abnormal activity when the temperature difference was -6℃.Acipenser schrenckii juvenile submerged in the underwater, the activities slowed down and breathe quickened when the temperature difference was -8℃,-10℃ or -12℃.
