Abstract: The changes of the meat performance of the hybrid progeny with Dorper Sheep as the paternal parent and Henan Small-tailed Han Sheep as the maternal parent were studied.The results showed that the appearance of the hybrid progeny had obvious changes,the body height decreased,while chest width,chest circumference,shank circumference and thurl width significantly increased.The meat performance indices of F1 of Dorper Sheep and Henan Small-tailed Han Sheep were higher than that of Henan Small-tailed Han Sheep.The slaughter weight of F1 of Dorper Sheep and Henan Small-tailed Han Sheep was 3 kg higher,the carcass weight was 2.8 kg higher,slaughter rate was 2.2% higher,the net meat weight was 2.4 kg higher and the net meat rate was 3.78% higher than Henan Small-tailed Han Sheep,with significant difference（P0.05）.
