Abstract: Hu Sheep was introduced from plain to mountainous area for barn feeding. Hu Sheep was hybridized with excellent meat sheep variety Dorper Sheep so as to enhance the production performance of local meat sheep, speed up the development of good-quality and efficient modern meat sheep industry. The implementing situations of ＂Study and Demonstration of Heterosis Utilization Technology of Hybridizing Dorper Sheep with Hu Sheep＂ in Lin＇an City of Zhejiang Province in 2011 were summarized.
