Abstract: In order to study the ecological function and value of natural grassland,the ecological value of CO2 fixation and O2 release by natural grassland vegetation in Gande county was analyzed.Results showed that the ecological value of annual CO2 fixation and O2 release by natural grassland vegetation in Gande county was 1.87×109 Yuan,and the average was 3 046 Yuan/hm2 which was further higher than the income of natural grassland of the same acreage in animal husbandry production.
