Abstract: From the view of grassland ecosystem conceptions of herdsmen,the relationship between grassland degradation and ecological concept of herdsmen in Northern Tibet was analyzed,and the current ecological concept characteristics of herdsmen in Northern Tibet and influencing factors were put forward.Six counties in Northern Tibet were investigated,and the ecological concept characteristics of local herdsmen were studied by using questionnaires and site interviews.From the perspective of grassland users in northern Tibet,the problems of grassland protection and other issues were discussed in order to provide reference for policy makers and researchers.
