Abstract: The extraction rate of Stellera chamaejasme were studied by using different extracting solution, different extracting multiple and different extraction method. And the components of the extracts by different extraction methods were analyzed. The results showed that the extraction rate by the extraction method of soaking at 75 ~C for 5 d with 6 times of 95% ethanol as extracting liquid was the highest and most extracted components was obtained. Especially for its insecticidal effect, ethanol as extracting liquid was more outstanding.
