Determination and Analysis of Laying Performance of Breeding Hens in Different Seasons

Abstract: The data of egg production of 7 520 breeding Hy-Line Brown laying hens from January to December of 2014 (122-day old to 429-day-old) were collected and statically analyzed. The highest laying rate in 2014 was observed in spring and the lowest rate was observed in autumn. The highest qualified rate of hatching egg was observed in winter and the lowest rate was observed in autumn. The highest feed to egg ratio was observed in winter and the lowest ratio was observed in spring. The highest broken egg rate was observed in summer and autumn, and the lowest rate was observed in winter. The highest mortality was observed in autumn and the lowest mortality was observed in winter.
