Anti-inflammatory Effects of Danqiao Injection in Mice in Vitro and in Vivo

Abstract: This study was aimed to assess the anti-inflammatory effects of Danqiao injection in vivo and in vitro by using the animal inflammatory model of ear edema induced by xylene in mice and the cell inflammatory model of RAW264.7 cell simulated by LPS. The in vivo experiment results revealed that the 0.025, 0.05, and 0A mg/ (kg· BW) of Danqiao injection significantly reduced the ear edema rate (P〈0.01) and serum content of IL-113,IL-8 and TNF-ct (P〈0.05) of the model mice. The in vitro experiment results showed that the 25, 50 and 100 μg/mL of Danqiao injection significantly reduced the increased serum content of TNF-α and IL-1β of RAW264.7 cell induced by LPS. The combined data suggest that the Danqiao injection has good anti- inflammatory effects in vivo and in vitro.
