Abstract: Graduation thesis （design） is an important practical teaching step in talents cultivation of colleges and universities, which is a comprehensive evaluation indicator for the four-years-learning outcome and creativity of the undergraduates. The graduation thesis （design） can visually reflect the talent training quality and the teaching quality of colleges and universities. To improve the quality of graduation thesis （design） of undergraduates in major of engineering, the traditional cultivation approaches must be reformed, and the feasible guiding plans on the graduation thesis （design） must be established.
