Abstract: In order to understand the incidence of pet canine dermatosis,a total of 37 suspected cases collected from a pet hospital in Beijing Haidian District from August to September 2016 were investigated. The results showed that 51.35% of the cases were observed in the dogs under 3 years old; the cases caused by co-infection of fungus and bacteria were commonly observed and accounted for 54.05%,followed by those caused by co-infection of fungus, bacteria and Sarcoptes(16.22%) and those caused by co-infection of fungus, bacteria and Demodex(10.81%); the cases caused by co-infection of bacteria and Sarcoptes accounted for 5.41%,and the cases caused by co-infection of fungus and Sarcoptes and the cases caused by simple infection of fungus both account for 2.70%; the cases associated with other etiological factors accounted for 8.11%; higher prevalence of dermatosis was observed in Teddy dogs and Chinese Field dogs, and male dogs seemed more susceptible to dermatosis compared to female ones. The combined data showed that the incidence of dermatosis caused by infection of fungus or bacteria is relatively higher in the dogs within 3 years old, which should be paid more attention.
