Abstract: [Objective]This study was aimed at evaluating and comparing the pregnancy rate of two embryo transfer methods in sheep, oviduct transfer and laparoscopic uterine horn minimally invasive transfer. [Methods]In the present study, Dorper Sheep were used as the donor and Mongolia Sheep served as the recipient; superovulation was induced in breeding Dorper Sheep by CIDR-FSH method, and estrus synchronization was induced in recipient by PRID +PMSG method; pregnancy rate of the above mentioned two methods was calculated and compared. [Results]50.6% of the recipients(n=178) treated by oviduct transfer were successfully pregnant and 73.4% of the recipients(n=109) received laparoscopic uterine horn minimally invasive transfer were successfully pregnant.[Conclusion]Oviduct transfer had significantly lower pregnancy rate compared to laparoscopic uterine horn minimally invasive transfer.
