Abstract: Baicalin, belonging to the flavonoid compounds, has many pharmacological actions and its antibacterial activity receives much concern. The research progress on antibacterial activity of baicalin is introduced on the aspects of overall evaluation on antibacterial activity, research status of antibacterial mechanisms and clinical application, in hoping to provide references for the further research on antibacterial activity of baicalin and its scientific use in clinic.
