Abstract: Recent studies have demonstrated that glycoalkaloids has the properties of anti-cancer, anti-fungi, anti-virus, serving as immune adjuvant of vaccine, degrading cholesterol, anti-inflammation, activating blood circulation, and relieving pain in clinical application. The recent research progress on classification, physicochemical properties and pharmaceutical application of glycoalkaloids were introduced in this article, in hoping to provide references for the research and development of the marketed preparation of glycoalkaloids.
