Abstract: The effect of taurochenodeoxycholic acid (TCDCA) on HSP90 mRNA expression mediated by glucocorticoid receptor (GR) in fibroblast-like synoviocytes (FLS) in rats with adjuvant arthritis (AA) was assessed by real-time quantitative PCR assay. The results showed that TCDCA extremely significantly down-regulated the HSP90 mRNA expression in FLS cells (P〈 0.01 ). In addition, the effect of TCDCA on HSP90 mRNA expression could be inhibited by RU486, a specific inhibitor against GR. It was indicated that TCDCA exerted anti-inflammatory and immunoregulative action via GR.
