Abstract: The aim of this study was to assess the effect of different treatment methods on the estrous synchronization of Bamei sheep. Two groups of ewes were subjected to estrous synchronization treatment with CIDR (progesterone vaginal suppository) + PMSG (pregnant horse serum gonadotropin) + PGF (cloprostenol) and CIDR + PMSG, respectively. The estrus rate of the two groups was compared. The results showed that the estrus rate of the ewes treated with CIDR+PMSG+PGF was 74%, and that of the ewes treated with CIDR+PMSG was 94%. It was concluded that CIDR+PMSG treatment had better performance in estrous synchronization of Bamei sheep.
