Diagnosis and Comprehensive Prevention and Control Measures of Peste des Petits Ruminants

Abstract: Peste des petits ruminants (PPR) is an acute or subacute infectious disease caused by peste des petits ruminants virus (PPRV). Sheep, goats and some small wild ruminants are vulnerable to the infection of PPRV. PPR has a very high morbidity and mortality, and always brings huge economic losses to sheep farms and herdsmen. Therefore, the diagnosis and comprehensive prevention and control measures of PPR are summarized, in hoping to provide references for the prevention and control of PPR.
