Abstract: Skeletal muscle stem cell has the characteristics of the general stem cells.It is a kind of cells which can be updated and reproduced by themselves,and it can differentiate into various cells with specific functions.Thus it can be used as seed cells in tissue engineering and has important and available value.This article reports the recent development in induced differentiation of skeletal muscle stem cells in order to offer a theoretical basis for further study on skeletal muscle stem cells.
