Abstract: Death receptor 6(DR6 or TNFRSF21)is a member of TNF receptor superfamily.DR6 is a type-Ⅰtrans-membrane receptor possessing four extra -cellular cysteinerich motifs and a cytoplasmic death domain.DR6 is expressed in most human tissues and abundant transcript can be detected in heart, brain, placenta, pancreas, thymus, lymph node and several non-lymphoid cancer cell lines.DR6 can interact with TRADD and active both JNK and NF-κB.In addition,DR6 inhibits proliferation and activation of T and B cell, and it also involved in inducing neurons cell apoptosis.
