Abstract: The aim of this research was to survey acute toxicity,irritation and hypersensitivity of compound traditional Chinese medicine transdermal patch on animal skin through skin acute toxicity and skin irritation test in healthy rabbits and dermal sensitivity test in healthy guinea pigs.The result showed that the compound traditional Chinese medicine transdermal patch had no acute toxicity and no irritation on integrated and worn skin of rabbits,and it had no hypersensitivity on integrated skin of guinea pigs.The experiment indicated that it is safe to administrate the compound traditional Chinese medicine transdermal patch via skin.
