Abstract

Abstract: Plateau characteristic ecological animal husbandry is an important industry for rural economic development as well as an effective way to solve the current problem ＂ agriculture, rural areas and farmers ＂ and to achieve a win-win situation in ecological protection and economic sustainable development in Lincang City. Based on field investigation, expert interview and literature consultation, we described the development status and existing problems of animal husbandry as well as the advantages of developing ecological animal husbandry in Lincang City. Furthermore, we also proposed some strategies to accelerate the development of plateau characteristic ecological animal husbandry in Lincang City.
