Abstract: Tibetan pig is a common and free-grazed pig species in plateau and alpine region.Although this pig species has high adaptability to the low oxygen and poor climatic conditions of the high altitude area as well as the extensive feeding and management conditions,its low production performance leads to the low breeding economic benefits.We elaborate the main measures to improve the economic benefits of Tibetan pig breeding,in hoping to provide references for the local pig farmers.
