Abstract: Yongliang 4 was main cultivated cuhivars for nearly 30 years in the Hetao area,appeared lower plant uniformity, resistance to the recession and the quality of variable inferior serious phenomena,should be deeply understand change of Yongliang 4 traits,which has a very important role in guiding production.Using regional test data of main economic characters variation for 27 years,the correlation, regression and path between main economic characters variation and yield were analyzed. The results show that： the main economic characters of variety have obvious variation which the thousand kernel weight has decreased and became one of the main negative effects of reduced yield. At present,according to the actual conditions of Hetao area, it is suggested wheat varieties selection could be based on higher thousand Kernel weight and multiple spike type.
