Effects of high concentration of CO2 on different plant growth,yield and quality

Abstract: In order to study the specific quality effects of CO2 on different plant growth,yield and quality,the effects of elevated CO2 concentration on plant growth,yield, quality and other traits were reviewed in the paper.It was found that CO2 concentration increased affected plant growth,directly affects photosynthesis and stomatal conductance,changed carbon-nitrogen balance,cell cycle characteristics and hormone metabolism.At the same time,CO2 concentration increased could increase crop yields and promote the increase of soluble sugars,titrable organic acids,soluble solids,sugar-acid ratio,and vitamins in plants,meanwhile,it could improve the flavor of fruits and vegetables.It is one of the most promising methods to achieve future food production goals for comprehensively study the impact of CO2 on ecological environment,CO2 technology can be applied to crops to realize the supply and demand of grain crops in the future and provide a theoretical basis for improving the quality of grain.
