Abstract: Based on the different ratio of postharvest mushroom waste, vermiculite, cow dung and physicochemical properties and its influence on vegetable seedlings determination and analysis, in order to provide theoretical basis for "breeding rules" theory. The results showed that the mushroom wastes: vermiculite: cattle manure ratio of 2 ∶1∶2, 2∶2∶2, 2∶2∶1, 3∶2∶2, 2∶1∶1 had suitable physicochemical properties for vegetable seedlings growing. Mushroom wastes, vermiculite and cow dung ratio of 2 ∶2∶2 was the best substrate ratio of tomato, eggplant. Mushroom wastes, vermiculite and cow dung ratio of 2 ∶2 ∶2,3 ∶2 ∶2,2 ∶1 ∶1and2∶1∶2 was the best substrate ratio of green pepper.
