Abstract: Effects of enriched concentrations of CO2 on tomato morphological growth and photosynthesis were studied in this experiment with “Jiafen15” tomato as the research object, and the optimum concentration of CO2 for tomato growth was determined to provide a theoretical basis for tomato cultivation in this area. The concentrations of CO2 released in the experiment were atmospheric concentrations at 500-700,700-900,and 900-1000 mg/kg.The results showed that with the increase of CO2 concentration, the plant height and stem diameter of tomato increased, but the contents of chlorophyll a and b,and the total chlorophyll decreased. These results suggest that the CO2 concentration can increase the plant height and stem diameter of tomato, but the chlorophyll content in tomato leaves decreased with the increase of CO2 concentration. The lowest CO2 enrichment concentration which can best enhance the photosynthesis of tomato is at 900-1 000 mg/kg.
