Abstract: Pharmacology is an important required course in the clinical and basic medicine speciality of medical and pharmaceutical colleges and its teaching contents mainly include the function, mechanism, clinical application and side effect of drugs. The orientation of training the hospital pharmacy personnel was mainly was the cultivated pharmacy personnel by local universities for Department of Pharmacy and the pharmacy-related departments. The hospital pharmacy personnel was different from the higher research pharmaceutical talents, which required rich and practical basic pharmaceutical knowledge, drug examination and other basic skills and could adapt to the working conditions of hospitals. The hospital pharmacy-oriented personnel training was a kind of application-oriented personnel. The teaching reform of pharmacology oriented by this kind of personnel was discussed.
