Abstract: Since 2007, Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province has continued to aim at increasing the efficiency of agriculture and animal husbandry and the income of farmers and herdsmen, and conscientiously organized and implemented various measures in animal husbandry production. Through these measures, livestock production has maintained a sound and fast development. In order to further promote the healthy and sustainable development of animal husbandry in this region, it is suggested that this region continue to promote the establishment of national and provincial industrial parks as well as science and technology demonstration parks, promote the industrialization of Tibetan sheep, yaks and forage grass to make these famous, outstanding and special brands bigger and stronger, deepen the innovative application of big data in animal husbandry production, operation, management and service, strengthen cooperation with scientific research institutes, especially in focus on the transformation and promotion of scientific and technological achievements in the fields of grass, livestock and seed production, and do a goodjob in livestock epidemic diseases prevention and control and product quality and safety.
