Abstract: The leaves, leafstalk and peduncles of Cyclamen persicum Mill were taken as expand in this experiment, and they were cultured on MS basic medium respectviely with different kind of phytohormones among various concentrations. The influences of phytohormones on different explants and the role of active carbon (AC), vitamin c (VC), polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) and darkness culture in anti-browning of explants were studied in this experiment by inducing the callus in different medium. The results showed that the best explants for inducing callus was young leaves, leafstalks and peduncles took the second place. The best medium for callus induction of leaves, leafstalks and peduncles were 1/2MS+6-BA2.0mg/L+2,4-D0.5mg/L+KT0.25mg/L MS+6-BA0.2mg/L+ NAA2.5mg/L, and MS+6-BA0.2mg/L+2,4-D0.5mg/L respectively. Darkness culture was best for anti-browning among the five treatments.
