Abstract: Since the 1970s,the genetic engineering technology developed quickly in the whole world.It has provided a broad development prospect for resolving agriculture and food issues.Using genetic engineering technology to improve the food is an important direction.In the present article,the applications of genetic engineering technology in food modification,nutritional quality and flavor were discussed.
