Abstract: Since 2007,Demonstration and Popularization Program of Scientific Feeding and Variety Breeding Technology of Drylot-feeding Sheep was conducted in Darhan Muminggan United Town in Baotou City of Inner Mongolia for two years.32 demonstration sites were chosen in 6 villages of the whole banner to popularize and apply four technologies,including scientific feeding and management,the fattening of meat goat,artificial insemination and rapid propagation of sheep,improving the twinning rate by using fecundin.Many difficulties and practical problems that farmers and herdsmen encountered in the feeding and management of meat sheep after drylot feeding were solved.Obvious economic benefits,social benefits and ecological benefits were obtained by famers in program-covering region.
