Prevention and Control of Sheep Mite Disease

Abstract: Acariosis is a chronic parasitic disease, and it is caused by Sarcoptes scabiei and Psoroptes communis which parasitize on the skin surface of sheep. The disease mainly happens in autumn and winter, with characters of skin inflammation, trichomadesis, intense itch and emaciation. Pathogen, clinical symptoms and prevention measures of the disease were summarized in this paper in order to provide reference for the effective control of sheep mite disease.
