Abstract: Practical teaching is the most important tache in the teaching of higher vocational education and it is an important approach of personnel training. The setting of training curriculum and the reform of training teaching methods should be mastered in the practical training of animal husbandry and veterinary specialty in higher vocational education. The idea and thoughts of designing the training curriculum in animal husbandry and veterinary specialty of higher vocational education, and the effective training teaching methods were summarized.
