Abstract: For northern China, 2017 was the year with the most abnormal climate and the most frequent meteorological disastersin the past 50 years. This phenomenon was more obvious in Naiman Banner located on the southern margin of Horqin Sandy, thelargest sandy land in China. In 2017, drought, high temperature, heavy rain and local forest all exceeded the extreme values inmeteorological history, causing huge losses to the local agricultural and forestry production. A comparative analysis was conductedon the abnormal meteorological factors in 2017 and historical data of Naiman Banner so as to provide a theoretical reference foravoiding, mitigating and reducing the losses caused by natural disasters to local agricultural and forestry production.
