Abstract: A total of 27 healthy and 35-day-old weaning Wanzai rabbits were assigned randomly into experimental group A,experimental group B and control group.The control group was fed with the basal diet,while the experimental groups were added alfalfa(A)or Italian ryegrass(B)instead of 20% of the basal diet during the 30-day-long feeding experiment.The results indicated that the average individual weight gain in experimental group A or B was extremely significantly higher than that in control group(P<0.01).As compared to the control group,the feed-gain ratio of experimental group A and B was decreased by 6%(P<0.01)and 11%(P<0.01),respectively.In terms of economic benefit,the average individual profit of experimental group A and B was 82.38% and 74.62% higher than that of the control group,respectively.Our results have a certain reference value for the choice of forage feed in Wanzai Rabbits feeding.
