Abstract: The objective of this study was to establish an ultra performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method for the determination of various quinolones residues in chicken blood samples. The samples were extracted with acetonitrile solution and were separated by Waters Acquity UPLC system with a BEH C18 column. The used mobile phases were methanol and 0.1% formic acid aqueous solution in gradient elution. The electrospray was operated in the positive ionization mode, and the compounds were identified by MRM mode. Methodological identification showed that the linear relationship, recovery and precision of the established method met the requirements. A method for simultaneous determination of various quinolones residues in chicken blood samples by ultra performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry was successfully established, and qualitative and quantitative analysis of 12 quinolones residues was achieved simultaneously.
