Abstract: This study analyzed the changing characteristics of plant community in mowed grassland of slightly degraded meadow steppe before and after spraying the multi-functional fertilizer, including the height, coverage and above-ground biomass of grasses. The results showed that the application of foliar fertilizer had minor effect on the coverage of grasses in the mowed grassland, but it could significantly increase the height and above-ground biomass of the grasses. The grasses height of the grassland receiving 2-year-long fertilization was averagely 7.32 cm higher than that of the control, and its above-ground biomass of the grasses had an increase of 39.42 kg/667 m2.
