Abstract: In order to explore the application effect of micro-course in theoretical teaching of Anatomy of Domestic Animals, two teaching classes of veterinary medicine specialty were randomly selected as the research objects. The experimental group were taught with the pre-class, classroom and after-school application of the micro-course, and the traditional teaching mode were adopted in the control group. The results showed that the test scores of the experimental group were significantly （P<0.05） higher than those of the control group. However, after the introduction of the micro-course teaching mode, the test scores of the control group were significantly （P<0.05） improved, and there was no significant difference in the test scores between the control group and the experimental group （P>0.05）. It was concluded that the introduction of micro-course in the teaching process of Anatomy of Domestic Animals not only improved the quality of teaching but also stimulated students′learning interest and enthusiasm in this curriculum, changing from passive learning into active learning.
