Abstract: The research aimed to improve the calculation method of total phosphorus content in the feed by GB/T 6437 -2002 spectrophotometry. By derivation test,a linear regression equation between phosphorus content and its absorbance was established by using regression analysis method to take place of working curve. Thus the determination results of total phosphorus could be calculated. The results showed that this method was simple, fast,with small error and high accuracy.
