Abstract: The effects of different levels of iron and copper in diet on the growth and development of piglets were studied. One factor and four levels were used in iron treatments, and piglets were divided into one control group and four test groups (with four piglets in each group) and the test lasted for 28 days. Two-factor repeated test design was used in copper treatments and the piglets were randomly divided into four groups (20 piglets in each group) according to the sex and body weight, and the test lasted for 28 days. The results showed that the growth-promoting effects were better in 60 mg/kg yeast iron group. Adding 250 mg,/kg copper sulfate in the diet of weaned piglets could enhance the feed intake and weight gain of piglets and improve the feed utilization rate. Better economic benefits were obtained in the group of adding 5 mg/kg copper-lysine complex.
