  • Morphological Identification of Lice on the Body Surface of Anser cygnoides and Ciconia boyciana

    The morphological identification was conducted on two kinds of lice on the body surface of Anser cygnoides and Ciconia boyciana from the Northern Forest Zoo of Harbin through morphology and structure observation and microscopic measurement. The results showed that the species lice that were parasitized on the body surface ofA. cygnoides and C. boyciana were Esthiopterum anseris and Trinoton quequedulae respectively.
    Effects of Basal Diet with Propolis on Production Performance of Pregnant Sows

    In order to study the effect of propolis on production performance of sows, sixteen pregnant sows (Landrance ×Yorkshire) whose mating date and parity were similar were selected and randomly assigned into control group and treated group. The control group were only fed with the basal diet, while the treated group were fed with the basal diet added with propolis. The test began when sows with 81 days of gestation were moved into farrowing house and ended when 21 days piglets had been weaned for 7 days. Results showed that compared with control, the average gain of weaning piglets in treated group was improved by 0.62 kg (P〈0.01), and the survival rate was improved by 4.51% (P〈0.05). In the lactation and 7 days before weaning, the diarrhea incidence of piglets in treated group was decreased by 1.37% (P〈0.05) and 2.96% (P〈0.01), respectively. Therefore, propolis can improve the production performance of sows greatly.

    The effects of einnamic acid, phillyrin, emodin and sulfite andrographolide on bacterial biofilm (BBF) formation were studied by BBF model of Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus. When bacteria formed into BBF at 37 ℃ after 24 hours, samples were added and then cultured for 24 hours. The absorbanee was measured to examine the impact of monomers on BBF after crystal violet staining. Results showed that the inhibition rates of emodin, phillyrin, cinnamic acid and sulfite andrographolide against BBF of Staphylococcus aureus under the concentration of 1.000 mg/mL were 67.26%, 10.91%, 18.26% and 17.05%, respectively, and the inhibition rates against BBF of Escherichia coli were 32.99%, 36.13%, 49.79% and 17.05%, respectively. Emodin had stronger inhibition to BBF of Staphylococcus aureus, while cinnamic acid had stronger inhibition to BBF of Escherichia coll.
    Studies on the Residue and Elimination Laws of Diclazuril in the Tissues of Rabbits by LC- MS/MS

    [Objective ] The research aimed to set up a method of LC-MS/MS for detecting the residues of dielazuril in rabbit tissues and investigate the residue and elimination laws of diclazuril in rabbit tissues. [ Method ] Forty-eight rabbits (24 male and 24 female)were fed with the diet that contained 10 g diclazuril per 1 000 kg diet for 30 days. Six rabbits (3 male and 3 female)were killed at eacil time point ( 0, 1,2,3,4,5, 6 days after the last drug administration). The muscle,liver and kidney tissues of rabbits were picked to extract by DMF/acetonitrile precipitation method. The residual amount of diclazuril in these tissues was determined by LC-MS/MS. [ Result ] The residual amount of diclazuril in kidney of rabbits was the highest and that on the day of the last drug administration was 912.6 μg/kg. The residual amount of diclazuril in liver of rabbits was the second and that on the day of the last drug administration was 156.1 μg/kg. And the residual amount of diclazuril in the muscle of rabbits was the lowest and that on the day of the last drug administration was 43.1 μg/kg. The elimination rate of diclazuril in the kidney was the fastest. [Conclusion] The method was suitable for the determination of diclazuril residues in rabbit tissues. The residual amount of diclazuril on the day of the last drug administration could meet the standards of European Union.
    Effects of Different Concentrations of 17β-estrodiol (E2) on in vitro Maturation and Parthenogenetic Development of Porcine Oocytes

    To evaluate the effects of different concentrations of 17β-estrodiol (E2) in culture media on in vitro nuclear maturation of porcine oocytes and in vitro development of porcine parthenotes, different concentrations of E2 were added into the medium of porcine ooeytes in vitro maturation. Based solution without adding estradiol to be the control group, the nuclear maturation efficiency, parthenogenetic embryo cleavage rate and blastocyst rate were analyzed. Results showed that the treatment of porcine ooeytes with 1 μg/ mL E2 significantly improved the in vitro maturation, while that treatment of porcine oocytes with 100 μg/mL E2 significantly inhibited the in vitro maturation.

    [Objective]The research aimed to used the maturation in vitro of mice oocytes and three activation methods (ethanol activation, strontium chloride activation, ethanol-strontium chloride activation) and make the parthenogenetic activation study of mice oocytes. [ Method ] After mice were injected with pregnant mare serum gonadotropin (PMSG) 48 h, ovaries were picked to obtain three classes of immature oocytes. The immature oocytes of mice were in vitro matured and cultured in maturation culture solution ( 100 mL, M199 +2.2 mg sodium pyruvate +100 IU/mL double antibody + 2 IU/mL LH + 10%FCS). The obtained mature oocytes were activated hy ethanol, strontium chloride, ethanol-strontium chloride. [Result]The maturation rate of A-class oocytes, B-class oocytes and C-class oocytes were 79%, 70% and 55% respectively. The activation rate of A-class oocytes by strontium ch!oride reached 80.0% and this activation method was the best. [Conclusion]The maturation and cuhure effects of Aclass oocytes were the best. The parthenogenetic activation effect of strontium chloride was higher than that of ethanol.
    Studies on the Weight and Dose Affecting the Mice Diabetic Model Induced by Streptozocin

    In order to study how the weight and dose affect the diabetic model induced by streptozocin, male mice of different weights were intraperitoneal injected into different doses of streptozocin by 5 times, the range of which was from 100 to 300 mg/(kg.bw). The course of disease, blood glucose, the death rate and the successful diabetic model were recorded to make sure the best dose of making diabetic models for streptozocin. The results showed that the highest rate of making diabetic model was 85% when the male mice were injected into 200 mg/(kg.bw) streptozocin. In that case, those mice showed typical diabetic disorder, and the weight and blood glucose changed little. Therefore, the best dose of making diabetic mice models for streptozotocin was 200 mg/(kg. bw) which was injected by 5 times. By the way, the rate of making successful diabetic models with lower weight of male mice was higher than with higher weight of male mice, and it also had lower death rate.

    Drought and water shortage is the bottleneck of planting artificial grass, and drip irrigation under film is the most effective water-saving irrigation method for arid areas at present. The technology has been large-scale applied in agriculture and significant benefits have been achieved, but it is seldom applied in planting artificial grass. In order to learn from the advanced technology and apply it in planting artificial grass, the important significance of drip irrigation under film in planting artificial grass was described, and application status and existing problems of drip irrigation under film in planting artificial grass in the Inner Mongolia region were analyzed so as to provide technical support for planting artificial grass in arid areas.

    Effects of Liquid Nano Vitamin on the Growth Performance and Carcass Quality of Broilers

    480 one-day-old healthy Avian broilers were selected and randomly divided into four groups, with four repetitions in each group, with 30 broilers in each repetition. In control group, the broilers were fed with the basic diet. In three test groups, the broilers were given with diluent of liquid nano vitamin by 4 000,6 000 and 8 000 times. The experiment lasted 42 days. The experiment was conducted to study the effects of liquid nano vitamin on the growth performance and carcass quality of broilers. The results showed that liquid nano vitamin increased significantly the average daily weight gain,the feed efficiency and slaughter weight of broilers (P〈O.O1) and significantly decreased the average daily intake and death rate of broilers (P〈O.O1). The slaughter test results showed that hquid nano vitamin could significantly increase the semi-eviscerated percentage,full-eviscerated percentage,breast muscle ratio and leg muscle ratio of broilers (P〈O.OI), and it had certain effects on the slaughter rate, without significant difference (P 〉0.05 ). In a word, liquid nano vitamin could significantly improve the growth performance and carcass quality of broilers and higher level of liquid nano vitamin had better production efficiency.

    Soybean isoflavone is a kind of flavonoicl compounds that was enriched in soybean. Because soybean isoflavone has weak estrogen activities,it has important effects in the prevention and control of the estrogen-related diseases. Soybean isoflavone has physiological functions of promoting the daily weight gain of livestock and poultry,enhancing the feed efficiency and production performance and promoting the immune functions of livestock and poultry.     The development status and characteristics of meat sheep industry in Inner Mongolia were summarized.And the correlation between the number of meat sheep in stock and the output value of animal husbandry was analyzed by using econometric model. Using ARIMA model, the number of meat sheep in stock from 2010 to 2014 was forecast. And a conclusion was drawn that the decrease of the number of meat sheep in stock would have a negative effect on the output value's growth of animal husbandry in Inner Mongolia. Some countermeasures were proposed for solving the negative growth of the output value of animal husbandry.

    Clinical Test of Chinese Medicine Powder to Decrease Somatic Cells in Milk

    Higher somatic cells in milk is the main indicator of nonclinical mastitis for cows. Based on the traditional theory of Chinese medicine, a Chinese herbal medicine pharmaceutical "droping somatic cells Chinese medicine powder" was prepared, and it has some functions of clearing and detoxifying, expediting channel and activating meridian, enhancing mammary's resistance and immune. A clinical test on cows' nonclinical mastitis for the Chinese medicine powder was carried out. Results show that effective rate of the Chinese medicine powder to decrease somatic cells in cows' nonclinical mastitis eases after one course of treatment (7 days) was 83%, slightly higher than control (80%). Because the Chinese medicine powder is a pure herbal formula, so it can be used as a substitute product of some prohibited drugs with commercially available effect which are forbid to use at the period of lactation in cows.

    In order to study the differences of extracellular enzymes (protease, amylase, lipase, urease) of heterotrophic bacteria in the water body and sediment in cultured area and non--cultured area of crabs in Weishan Lake,microbe in these two environments were preliminarily screened out and separated. And 25 bacterial strains were obtained, cultured and observed on the solid culture media that contained protein, fat, starch and urea. The colonies were recorded and the size of antibacterial circle was measured. The results showed that the bacteria that produced protease and lipase in cultured area of crabs were more than that in non-cultured area of crabs, but the amount of the bacteria that produced amylase and unease had little difference.

    Since 1990s,several western countries reform and consolidate their food safety systems. They establish independent organizations to take charge of food safety affairs. After several food safety incidents, China also recognizes it's urgent to take action. It introduces the experiences of England, Japan and American in the reform, which has revelation and value for the establishment of food safety systems in China. The status and trends of international food safety system reform were introduced and analyzed in this paper, and some advice for the establishment of Chinese food safety system was put forward.
    Polymorphism of FSH βGene in Pig and Its Correlation with the Farrowing Performance

    Using FSHβ gene as the candidate gene, taking 518 sows (Duroc,Landrace,Yorkshire)as the research objects, the polymorphism of FSHβ gene sites was detected by electrophoresis of PCR products. Three genotypes were detected as AA ,A B,BB. The correlations between the genotypes of gene locus and total litter size, live litter size were analyzed. The results showed that the main genotype of FSHβ gene in Duroc ,Landrace and Yorkshire was BB genotype and the gene frequency of B in these three pig species were 96.67%, 73.36% and 86.01% respectively, but it had no significant effect on the litter size (P 〉0.05). The first-born litter size of these three pig species with different genotypes had no significant difference (P〉0.05). The effect of different genotypes on the total litter size had no significant difference (P 〉0.05). In conclusion, the polymorphisms of FSHβ gene site had no significant correlation with the first- born litter size and total litter size of these three pig species.
    Effect of the Polymorphism at Exon 3 of Insulin-Uke Growth Factor I (IGF- I ) Gene on the Growth Traits of Shanxi White Pig

    Insulin-like growth factor I (IGF- I )is the main regulatory factor for animal growth ,development and metabolism ,and it is the main mediator that the growth hormones activate the growth activity. The polymorphism at the exon 3 of IGF- I gene in Shanxi White Pig population was detected by PCR-SSCP. Three alleles ofA ,B and C were detected and six genotypes ofAA ,AB,A C, BB,BC and CC were found. The frequency of allele A was higher (0.549)than those of alleles of B and C,which were 0.173 and 0.278 respectively. In the case of genotype distribution, the frequencies of homozygote A A, heterozygote A B and A C (0.230,0.204, and 0.434 respectively ) were higher than those of other genotypes (less than ! 0% ). The effects of mutation site on the birth weight, weaning weight and body weight, body height, body length, chest girth, back-fat thickness at the age of six months of Shanxi White Pig were analyzed by using the least square method. The results showed that the mutation site had significant influences on the body height of six-month pigs (P〈0.05)and the body height of six-month pigs with BC genotype was significant shorter than other genotypes (P〈0.05). But the mutation site had no significant effect on other traits (P 〉0.05 ).

    The pig farm will generate a lot of data in the production process of breeding, delivery, weaning and immunization. According to the disciplines of pig production and the links between the various records, relative records should be optimized and processed so that it could better serve the farm's management, planning and pig breeding. The classification of pig farm's records, the process and renewal of records and the utilization of pig farm's information were summarized in this paper.
