Abstract: China is a big agricultural country;the agriculture is the foundation of the national economy,it has a vital position. Therefore, it is very important to develop the rural primary democracy during the process of building socialist democracy, guarantee political stability and economic development.The primary democracy building in rural areas is the cornerstone of national democratic political construction,it is the effective form to uphold the mass line, strengthen and improve the Party＇s leadership. In the new era, China is accelerating the process of rural democracy building, it has made tremendous achievements, but there are still more factors that constraint rural democracy building. This article explores the current existing problems of rural democracy building, and then come up with some measures to promote the process of rural democracy building.
