Abstract: Wheat varieties play an important role in their production.It has always been main targets for wheat breeders to improve yield per unit area and quality as well as stress resistance.In order to meet the wheat growing area demands for new varieties,a new spring wheat variety ＂Nongmai 3＂,with medium gluten,high yield and rust resistance,was bred by the wheat breeding research group of Inner Mongolia Academy of Agricultural and Husbandry Sciences and had approval of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Crop Variety Approval Committee in 2011.Meanwhile its supporting cultivation technology which could guarantee the manifestation of the variety＇s characteristics was carried out according to the producing area conditions in central and western Inner Mongolia.
