Abstract: The anti-inflammatory effect, toxicity and the effect on immune function of compound Shen Qi oral liquid were studied through animal test. The results showed that the compound Shen Qi oral liquid had obvious anti-inflammatory effect, had obvious inhibition to ear swelling of small white rat caused by xylene, and also had obvious inhibition to the foot swelling of big white rat caused by fresh egg white. High dose of compound Shen Qi oral liquid had significant inhibition to granuloma formation of big white rat caused by cotton ball, and low dose of compound Shen Qi oral liquid had obvious inhibition to that. The compound Shen Qi oral liquid was safe, and had no bad drug reaction and small effect on immune function. Thereby, the compound Shen Qi oral liquid has advantages of obvious anti-inflammatory effect, no side effect, safety and reliability.
