Abstract: Animal Reproduction is an important professional basic course with strong practicality and applicability in animal husbandry and veterinary medicine specialty in higher vocational colleges. In order to adapt the current training requirements for undergraduates in higher vocational colleges, with the consideration of undergraduates′ characteristics, teaching reform of Animal Reproduction is conducted on the aspects of teaching contents, teaching means and methods, practical teaching, practice bases construction and the curriculum evaluation system. The teaching effect and the practical ability and comprehensive quality of the undergraduates were remarkably improved.
