Key Technology for Short-term Fattening of Culling Cows in Tibet Agricultural Region

Abstract: In Tibet agricultural area,the prior treatment of the culling cows for the purpose of short-term fattening is closely associated with the fattening effect.Before fattening,the stress relieving measures should be taken for the newly introduced culling cows.After that,the presence of metal sundries or plastic bags in rumen should be checked and removed.Furthermore,the anthelmintic and stomach-invigorating measures are also essential.During the short-term fattening process,scientific forage collocation and good feeding environment can improve the animal welfare and fattening efficiency of the fattening cow,which is helpful for improving the fattening economic benefit.
