Teaching Reform and Exploration of Animal Husbandry Microbiology

Abstract: Animal Husbandry Microbiology is an important professional basic course for undergraduates majoring in animal science in South China Agricultural University. In view of the existing problems such as complicated knowledge points, low participation of undergraduates in classroom interaction and poor learning effect of this course, a series of teaching reforms have been carried out in terms of curriculum setting, teaching content, teaching mode and assessment methods. The practical results show that through teaching reform, the undergradutes' enthusiasm for learning and classroom participation are effectively motivated, and the teaching quality of the entire course is significantly improved.
