Abstract: The single factor Randomization design was used, and four levels of VE were set, with three replicates each level. Total 96 1-day old AA broilers were selected, and maize-soybean meal basal diet was adopted. The levels of VE were 5, 15, 150 and 1 500 IU/kg. The nutrient levels of all diets were the same except VE. The period of test was four weeks. After the test finished, daily feed intake, daily gain, feed conversion ratio, phagocytic index, immune organ index and the antibody to Newcastle disease virus of AA broilers of each group were calculated. The results showed that adding 150-1 500 IU/kg VE could increase HI titers, spleen index and bursal index, but decreased the production performance. It indicated that VE requirement of 1-28 days old AA broiler chickens was 5 IU/kg.
